Moodstone ("we", "our", or "us") develops and publishes Sheepz, a pastoral puzzle and arcade game available on mobile devices and the web. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you play Sheepz.

Summary: Sheepz is built for family-friendly enjoyment. We do not sell your personal information. You can play anonymously without an account, or sign in to save scores, challenge friends, and compete on the Daily Challenge leaderboard.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Sheepz, we may collect the following types of information:

Anonymous Gameplay & Performance Telemetry: Level completion times, star ratings, bark counts, and game error logs to help us balance puzzle difficulty and ensure smooth performance.
Optional Player Profiles: If you choose to sign in (via Apple, Google, or Email), we store your chosen display name, unique player ID, and random friend code.
Leaderboard & Challenge Records: High scores and speedrun completion times for the global and friend Daily Challenge leaderboards.
Push Notifications (Optional): If you grant notification permissions, device push tokens are used solely to send your requested morning reminders or friend challenge alerts.

2. How Information is Used

To provide, save, and synchronize your level progression across sessions.
To display global and friend leaderboards for Daily Challenges.
To balance level difficulty based on aggregated puzzle completion metrics.
To maintain security and prevent cheating on public scoreboards.

3. Data Storage & Security

Sheepz uses Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication) with secure, encrypted transit (TLS/SSL) and industry-standard access control rules to safeguard user records.

4. Account & Data Deletion

You have full control over your data. In compliance with Apple App Store and Google Play standards, you may delete your profile and associated cloud records at any time directly within the game by tapping Profile ➔ Delete Account, or by emailing us at support@moodstone.com.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

Sheepz does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. The game can be fully played in guest mode without entering any personal data or email addresses.
